Ok, here are some things you'll need to watch out for when getting a website built:
- You need to host your site somewhere. That most definitely will cost money. If you want fast, secure and reliable hosting, you have to pay for it. We offer 99.9% uptime, regular backups and upgrades. Hosting charges for a CMS site usually range from $20up to $100 per month. We charge $50.
- Getting a web company to upgrade you website can be a costly process. I personally know of companies who charge $150 per hour for updates –even if your changes take 5min, you still pay for a whole hour! The sites I build use the world's best* CMS system –which means you can easily updates your own site. However, if updating code doesn't sound like your thing, out team will do it for free! And if our job only takes 5 min, you still only pay… nothing!
- I've heard it said, "well, my nephew can build websites – he could do me one for free!" Yeah, well, him and I could probably get together and build some sort of a house, but it would be crap. If you're thinking "$50??? That's way too cheap to be of any quality", then check out our portfolio. Your website needs to reflect the quality and professionalism of your business and brand. We have been building professional websites since 2000, we know what works and we don't build rubbish. It's not just your name that gets tarnished if you have a cheap looking, badly built website – it's ours too.
- "There's this new web company that I might use"… Ok. Well, let it first be said that we support entrepreneurs and anyone who steps up to start a business – they get our respect. However, it seems every new design school graduate thinks they can make a quick buck out of this interweb thing. What you get is a website built by someone who doesn't know the ins and outs of a tough industry. Once your newbie designer realizes how hard to survive in this environment, they shut up shop and leave you and your site stranded. We have seen this so many times over the years.

Freewebsite is not one of those fly by night companies - I first started business in 2000 and have been building websites for coming up 7 years
Over this time I have built up a great client base and subsequently the pressure to sell every month is gone as I have regular paying hosting clients who cover all my costs. Allowing me to build you a website for free.
I know that in our minds price reflects quality, "there is no such thing as a free lunch", "you get what you pay for" etc etc. Now you are more then welcome to go to the web designer down the road and pay thousands of dollars or simply check out our portfolio or tee up a time for a free meeting over a coffee and you will find that there is such a thing as a free lunch and maybe a free coffee to if your lucky.
